Delivered from Spiritual Attack – Yalda’s Testimony
“From viewer to believer”
On October 30th, 2024, something remarkable took place on our YouTube channel during a live show hosted by Mohamad. He was joined by Yalda, an ex-Muslim Christian from Afghanistan, who shared her powerful testimony of deliverance from Islamic witchcraft and how Jesus saved her through many miraculous events. But the story doesn’t end there – something even more incredible happened in the live chat.
During the show, a viewer named Ella reached out in the live chat section, asking for prayer. Her message seemed real and urgent, “Can someone please pray for me? I am in spiritual warfare. I am a Muslim (not practicing), but I have had something change in me lately, and I’m begging God to reveal Himself to me, to show me the way.” Mohamad noticed Ella’s comment and immediately paused the conversation with Yalda to read it aloud to the audience. Yalda and Mohamad began to pray for Ella. They prayed for her to find the way, to find truth, and for God to reveal Himself to her. Later, Ella reached out to Yalda and shared her struggles, “Every time I sense a calling from Jesus, I get spiritual attacks.” This was a familiar struggle for Yalda, who had gone through similar spiritual battles before her conversion. With compassion and understanding, Yalda walked Ella through deliverance and helped her accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Yalda later shared, “Ella is truly reborn and has been delivered. She is doing well.” Praise God! Another soul has been added to the Kingdom of God!
This is a beautiful reminder of how God is moving in powerful ways, even in the midst of spiritual warfare. Ella’s story is a testament to the transformative power of prayer and the love of Jesus Christ.
The Persian New Year
“A God Ordained Time to Reach a Nation”
As long as I remember, when I was a child, I would get so excited about the Persian New Year. It was family time, it was traveling time, it was a time of gift exchange – especially for us younger ones. We were at the receiving end of it. We didn’t give gifts – we just received them. The whole extended family gathered, visited, ate, and exchanged gifts for two full weeks. But, after my conversion to Christianity, I wasn’t welcomed to the family gathering anymore. My family hid me from these types of events. I brought shame to them because I left Islam. They were afraid I would talk to our relatives about my newfound faith, and they ostracized me. The Persian New Years were not the same anymore.
Yet, as my earthly family pushed me away, God gave me a beautiful alternative. He prepared another family for me – His family, the community of ex-Muslim believers inside Iran. These ex-Muslim Christians had been through similar experiences, so we clicked very fast. We were called many things: traitors, apostates, infidels, and more. But, we wore those titles as a badge of honor because, in truth, we were family. A new family. God’s family. Dysfunctional at times, but what family isn’t?
Now, I find myself anticipating the Persian New Year in a completely different way. Over the past seven years, I’ve spent this season with my new family. These believers are the direct fruit of our ministry, and today, I’m honored to be a father figure in this family. Together, we gather in a neighboring country of Iran with a very specific purpose: to invite more people, Muslims, to join God’s family.
During the Persian New Year, tens of thousands of Iranians and Afghans travel to places like Turkey and nearby countries. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet them, talk with them, and share the best gift anyone could ever receive – the Word of God. Our gatherings are joyful and intentional and full of stories of transformation. Every time someone accepts the invitation to be part of God’s family, we celebrate knowing heaven rejoices with us.
This year, as we prepare for the Persian New Year (starting 21st of March), we are filled with anticipation because we find ourselves on the verge of something extraordinary. For the first time, our ministry will be hosting outreach gatherings in multiple locations at the same time. With three teams in three different countries, we’re expanding the outreach in ways we’ve never done before. We know God is going to move powerfully again. We’ve seen year after year hundreds of Muslims accepting our invitation to join the family of God by accepting His Son Jesus Christ. What once was a time of worldly celebration with material goals has become a time of spiritual harvest with eternal purposes.
This is not just a family gathering anymore – it’s a mission. It’s a chance to change the destiny of a nation, one heart at a time. And, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

A New Heart: Faith and Miracles Through Trials
“Sara’s Testimony”
In March of 2022, during our Persian New Year evangelism outreach in the Middle East, one of the workers of Iranian Christians International (ICI), Hamideh, shared the Gospel with a woman named Sara and her two sons. The family consists of 4. Although they identified as Christians and they were glad that we were evangelizing the Persians, they lacked a basic understanding of Jesus and His teachings. That day, Hamideh took their phone number, hoping to stay in touch and follow up for further discipleship, and she did.
Later, in 2023, ICI moved Hamideh and her family to a bigger city for more ministry work. This move drew them closer to Sara’s family. Hamideh kept encouraging them and eventually invited them to an ICI conference held in Ephesus, Turkey. There, Sara and her family experienced God and were baptized in water and got connected to more believers. They also began attending a church, to grow in their faith and be more serious with their Christian Walk.
In November 2024, Sara faced a severe heart condition. Doctors at one of Istanbul’s most renowned hospitals diagnosed her with a blocked artery and a blood clot in her heart. The initial examinations alone cost 50,000 Turkish Lira, with an additional 100,000 Lira estimated for surgery. Unable to afford these expenses, Sara’s family decided to transfer her to Iran, where her treatment could be covered by insurance. However, they struggled even to pay the 20,000 Lira required for her discharge, leaving behind a debt of 30,000 Lira.
The day after Sara’s discharge, Hamideh and her son visited her at home. Sara, looking very weak and barely able to speak, received prayer as Hamideh laid her hand on her head and prayed in the Spirit. During the prayer, the Spirit of God moved powerfully. Hamideh heard the Lord say, “I have given Sara a new heart.”
At that moment, Sara felt an overwhelming sense of warmth. She smiled, sat up on her bed, and began speaking clearly, declaring that her old, sick heart had been replaced with a new one. The house nurse caring for Sara, watching all of these things, was moved by the miracle, and gave her life to Jesus after hearing the Gospel that very day.
A few days later, the hospital demanded the remaining 30,000 Lira debt, threatening legal action. Sara’s family had no means to pay. Hamideh’s son shared the situation with the church. Within a few minutes, the church responded, offering to cover the entire debt. Praise God! When Sara went to settle the amount, the hospital unexpectedly gave her a 9,800 Lira discount – a miracle in itself. Sara wanted to return the discounted amount to the church, but the church encouraged her to use it for her travel expenses to Iran, where further treatment awaited.
In December of 2024, at Tehran’s most prominent heart hospital, Sara was placed in a room with two other patients to undergo a thorough heart examination following her previous diagnosis. The doctor carefully compared her test results with the reports from the Turkish hospital, where she had been told her condition was critical. To his astonishment, Sara’s heart was perfectly healthy – “as healthy as a newborn baby’s,” he remarked. There were no signs of blockages, clots, or any previous issues.
While Sara was awaiting her discharge from the hospital, a neighboring patient – a woman in Sara’s hospital room – suddenly passed away. The medical staff rushed in to revive her, but although they made tremendous efforts for thirty minutes, they were unable to save her. She was unplugged from the machines and officially declared dead. Sara, however, felt a strong prompting from God to pray for the woman. She knelt beside her bed and started worshipping and praying over the woman for the next two hours. During this time the nurses would come and say, “please stop, everything is over, she is dead, even God can’t help now.” “You should let her be, woman.” Regardless of the scoffers, Sara kept believing in God. Suddenly, the woman’s eyelids flickered, and she came back to life. The frightened nurses immediately reconnected her to the medical devices, astounded by what they had just witnessed. Meanwhile Sara kept glorifying Jesus’ name.
The third patient in Sara’s room, a 78-year-old woman who had observed the whole event later told Hamideh over the phone that she had seen Jesus standing beside Sara as she prayed. Moved by this testimony, the elderly woman and 14 hospital staff members – including nurses who had witnessed the resurrection – gave their lives to Christ. By the time Sara was discharged, the deceased woman who was alive and well, shared with us, “I was out of my body. I saw you praying for me from up there, beside you I saw Jesus.” She also gave her heart to the Lord Jesus. As the news spread in that hospital wing, patients from other rooms were coming to Sara to receive prayer, and another person with a knee condition was miraculously healed.
Before these extraordinary events, Sara had struggled with feelings of rejection and doubt, questioning her ability to serve God. After experiencing His miraculous power, she now boldly shares the Gospel with her relatives and community. She has dedicated her life to serving the Lord, Saying, “I fear no men, I am victorious in Christ.”

December Conference
In December, we held a conference similar to the one Sara and her family attended. These gatherings are designed specifically for new believers – many of whom have never attended a live worship service or had the opportunity to receive foundational Christian teachings in a group setting. They truly fit what the Bible calls “babes in Christ” and are in need of the pure milk of the Word to help them grow.
During these types of conferences, we teach on foundational topics like the importance of the Word of God, the new birth, Baptisms, Communion, Prayer, the fellowship of believers, and more. We had 42 ex-Muslim believers in attendance and about 70% came from Iran. They came from all walks of life and some had only been Christians for a few weeks. The hunger to learn was tangible. One of the attendees told us, “The things I learned here I could have never learned studying on my own.”
On the last night of the conference, we held a water baptism service, and what a night it was! I was in the water for over a whole hour, baptizing one person after another. Hamideh and her husband, brother Farzad, brought 10 new converts beyond the conference attendees that evening just to be baptized. These are people they had witnessed to and who had confessed Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
One of the most unforgettable testimonies from the conference was about a man who had been ministered to for over a year by brother Farzad. Farzad faithfully shared Jesus with him, planting seeds, but the man remained resistant. He would mock Farzad, saying, “You can’t be serious.” Yet, Farzad never gave up. Then one night, he had a very special dream. The next morning, he ran to Farzad, desperate for answers, and asked, “Who is Emmanuel? A voice in my dream said Emmanuel can help you?” Farzad replied, “I’ve been telling you about Him for a year, but you didn’t want to listen. Do you want to believe in Him now?” That moment changed everything, and this man gave his heart to Christ.
I’ll never forget seeing him at the baptism service. He looked rough, a gang member type, with tattoos covering him from head to toe, but the joy on his face was unmistakable – only Jesus could transform a life like his. The presence of God during the baptisms was so strong that it touched even those who were just observing. One teenage girl, who had come to watch her mom get baptized, decided to give her life to the Lord that night. Without hesitation, she asked to be baptized as well.
This conference was such a beautiful reminder of how God is at work among the Persian people. Lives were transformed, hearts were set on fire for the Word of God, and Jesus still loves, mends, purifies, lifts up, just as ever.
